As predicted, the December Visa Bulletin Shows Nominal Movement

The Department of State’s December Visa Bulletin, released November 7, and confirms grim predictions for those mired in visa retrogression. We will add the Visa Office’s Charlie Oppenheim’s monthly reflections when they come out in the next week or so. More critically, we are waiting for President Obama to step up on executive action this fall. He should clarify that the statute and annual green card quota should not count family members of the new green card holder towards the world-wide quota.
